Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This site is operated by Olivier Puyraud, an individual based in Florida, United States, trading as OJP Studio. When this policy says "I," "me," “we”, or "my," it means that person. When it says "you," it means anyone visiting or using ojpstudio.com.
This site exists mainly so that recruiters, hiring managers, and prospective collaborators can learn about my professional background. I am one person running a personal website, not a company with a data team. This policy is written plainly and describes exactly what happens to information you share here.
The short version
I do not sell your information. I do not rent, trade, or share it with anyone for their own marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. I do not work with data brokers or advertising networks. I have never done this and I do not intend to.
I do use a small number of well-known service providers to run the site — a website host, a payment processor, an email provider. They handle information strictly on my behalf and under their own contractual obligations. That is disclosure of the tools I use, not sharing of your data with third parties for their benefit. Every one of them is named below.
Information you give me
Contact form. If you send me a message, I receive whatever you put in the form — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Meeting bookings. If you book time with me, I receive your name, email address, and any details you add when booking, along with the time you selected.
CV download. My CV is available to download from this site. The file is hosted directly on my website host and is not delivered through any third-party service.
Support payments. If you choose to send a voluntary support payment, the payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details never reach me and are never stored on this site. I see only a confirmation of the payment, the amount, and the name and email address you supplied at checkout.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, this site and its host record basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, the pages you viewed, and the site or link that referred you.
I use this to understand whether the site is working and roughly how many people are reading it. I do not use it to build a profile of you, to target advertising, or to identify you personally.
Service providers
These are the providers that may process information in the course of running this site. Each acts on my behalf.
Squarespace - Website hosting and publishing - Site visits, technical logs, form submissions, CV file delivery
Cloudflare - Domain management and network security - Technical connection data, IP address
Stripe - Payment processing - Payment details, name, email, billing information
Google Workspace - My business email - The content of any email you send me
Google Analytics - Site traffic measurement - Anonymous or pseudonymous usage data, cookies
HubSpot - Contact management and meeting bookings - Name, email, message content, booking details
Google Analytics and HubSpot may not be active on the site at all times. They are listed so this policy remains accurate whether or not they are running when you read it.
Each provider maintains its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. Stripe in particular is an independent payment processor and handles your payment information under its own terms, not mine.
Cookies and analytics
This site may set cookies that are necessary for it to function, and analytics cookies that help me understand site traffic. If analytics is active, it is configured for aggregate measurement — not for advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Essential site functions may not work correctly if you block all cookies.
How long I keep things
I keep contact form submissions, booking records, and related correspondence for up to 48 months, after which they are deleted unless we are in active conversation or I have a specific reason to retain them for longer — for example, a live discussion about a role.
Payment records are retained by Stripe under its own retention schedule, and I retain transaction records for as long as required for US tax and accounting purposes.
Your choices
You are welcome to ask me to:
Tell you what I hold about you
Correct anything that is wrong
Delete what I hold, where I am not required to keep it
Stop contacting you, at any time and for any reason
Email me and I will action it. I do not require a form, a legal citation, or a particular form of words. For most requests I will respond within 30 days.
Where your information goes
My site and accounts are based in the United States and my service providers are largely US-based. If you are visiting from Singapore, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or anywhere else outside the US, information you send me will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law differs from that of your home country. By using this site or contacting me, you understand that this is the case.
Children
This site is written for a general audience and there is nothing on it unsuitable for younger readers. However, it is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, contact me and I will delete it.
Support payments and any paid service require you to be at least 18 years old, or to have the consent of a parent or guardian.
Security
I use reputable providers, keep accounts protected with strong authentication, and limit what I collect in the first place. No website can promise perfect security, and I am not going to pretend otherwise — but the volume and sensitivity of what I hold is deliberately kept low.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top. Material changes will be evident from the page itself. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
